Events › AARP Driver Safety Class

Refresh and improve driving skills, boost safety awareness, and minimize crash risk, with this two-part class. Participants aged 55 or older who complete both course sessions are eligible to receive a discount on the liability portion of their driver's insurance. Call your insurance company to verify the discount. Cash or check made out to AARP due on first class, $20 for AARP members and $25 for nonmembers. Limit 28. Registration opens on February 1st.

For the first class, please arrive by 12:45 for registration and payment. Bring a ballpoint pen, your Illinois Driver's License, and your AARP number for a discount. Dress in layers as room temperatures may vary. Eating and drinking are allowed, and a water bottle filling station is available.
