Join us for a community roundtable workshop led by Marc Brackett; Ph.D., founding director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, a professor in the Child Study Center at Yale University, and author of the new book DEALING WITH FEELING: Use Your Emotions to Create the Life You Want.
In today’s world, anxiety, depression, and stress are at an all-time high. While we can’t always control what life throws our way, we can control how we respond. How we navigate our emotions—whether in the workplace, in relationships, or moments of personal crisis—shapes what happens next. Drawing on both personal experiences and the latest scientific research, Prof. Brackett offers a practical framework for understanding and responding to emotions. His message is simple: There are no “bad” emotions—only ones we haven’t learned how to manage.
This program is presented in partnership with Family Action Network (FAN). FAN is a 501(c)(3) organization that curates a high-quality speaker series each academic year. All FAN programs are free and open to the public.
